Worship Services

Sunday Worship

There is an area in the church for families with small children who might need extra space. Each Sunday we offer special activities for young children which will help them grow in faith.

We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. On the third Sunday, we have intergenerational worship, which provides activities for all ages, from pre-schoolers to 90-year-olds!

What to expect in Worship

  • There are plenty of seats, so you can sit wherever you want.
  • Our services usually last about an hour.
  • We want you to feel at home, so wear whatever you feel comfortable in- shorts, jeans, smart casual or a suit.
  • Refreshments and an opportunity to socialise and get to know others is provided after each worship service.
  • Our worship includes praying, singing, sharing, Bible readings and images, symbols and reflections which help you connect with God.
  • We maintain a COVID safe environment. Hand sanitiser is available, you can wear a mask if you wish to, and we ask you to not attend if you are feeling unwell.

How to get here

We have a car parking area that can be entered off Star Street. This car park includes ACROD bays. Further street parking is available down Star Street.
Transperth has bus stops on Star Street and Archer Street making public transport an easy option to visit us.
A number of members also walk or bike to church. Bikes and scooters can be safely stored inside the venue.

Worship Online

If you unable to attend worship in person our service is available via Zoom every Sunday. We have members who regularly worship with us from interstate and overseas.

If you want to test what Star St worship is like but don’t feel confident to attend in person, this may be an option. To be sent the Zoom link to our service, please send your request to starstuca@bigpond.com.

The Tapu Niue Christian Fellowship is a faith community of the Uniting Church and come from the tiny Pacific Island of Niue.

This Fellowship worships at Star St in their own language on the first Sunday of the month at 12 noon, followed by a meal and fellowship.
